Oral History Copy Request Form

Oral History Copy Request Form

Please fill out this form in order to request a copy of an oral history transcript or an audio recording.  Center for Oral History Research staff will contact you to let you know whether U.S. Copyright Law and UC Library policy allow us to provide you a copy.  If we can provide you with a copy, we will also provide you with a price quote.

The Copyright Law of the United States (Title 17, United States Code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted materials.

Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries and archives are authorized to furnish a photocopy or other reproduction. One of these specified conditions is that the photocopy or reproduction is not to be used for any purpose other than private study, scholarship, or research. If a user makes a request for, or later uses, a photocopy or reproduction for purposes in excess of fair use, that user may be liable for copyright infringement.

This institution reserves the right to refuse to accept a copying order if, in its judgment, fulfillment of the order world involve violation of copyright law.

Contact the Center for Oral History Research for an exact price quote.  Fees must be paid in advance and are non-refundable. Please make checks payable to University of California Regents. California residents must add 8.25% tax.
