Request for Permission to Use Oral History Excerpts in Print Publications and Media Products

Once you have determined the portions of an oral history interview you want to use, please submit this form.

If you are requesting permission to use in a print publication, send a separate e-mail to oral-history@library.ucla.edu with an attachment containing the pages of your publication that include the quotes you are requesting permission to use (please highlight the quotes).

If you are requesting permission to use in a media product, send the relevant quotes to the above email address if you have a copy of the transcript. If you do not have a copy of the transcript, summarize the general content of the segments.

If your use is a non-educational, commercial use, please consult the Standard License Agreement Form. Uses necessitating a license will require the user to agree to the applicable terms described in this or a similar agreement.
