Tips for Accessing Library Resources

Users should start at a UCLA Library Web site when accessing library resources rather than bookmarking specific journals or databases because the Web addresses for those resources may change.

All electronic resources licensed by the UCLA Library can be accessed by using the Search for... box on the Biomedical Library homepage. Freely available electronic resources that have been cataloged by the Library are also included in that database.

Article databases that contain UC-eLinks are listed on the Key Resources page. The UC-eLinks button for a given citation links the user to the article online or to an interlibrary loan request for it.

The UCLA Library's Search and Find menu contains a link to the UCLA Library Catalog, which provides access to all licensed and some freely available electronic resources, in addition to records for books and other items. The menu also contains links to other catalogs, article databases, and other electronic resources.
