One plant, top, "Fumusterre," (family Papaveraceae including Fumariaceae), Fumaria officinalis, Fumitory, bears curved branched stems (compound leaves), rising to the vertical, green with thick brown roots, and with some brown stems and palmately parted leaflets. Figures associated with plant, "Fumusterre," apparently indicates use against "leprosy," that is, skin disease: seated nude male figure picks leaves on r. Another nude male figure approaches from behind, guided by an angel who points to plant. Both men are covered with lesions. Adjacent text: Italian herbal.
