Two plants: Plant, top, "Pinistrella francichiola vel pinaria idem est," apparently a crucifer (family Cruciferae) bearing some resemblance to Pastinacha sp., Parsnip, genus uncertain, three raditating compound leaves without a stem above a very thick spindle-like root, green with white roots. Plant, center, "Peadion maggiore," indentity undetermined, somewhat resembling (family Rosaceae) Sanguisorba officinalis, Great Burnet, a central vertical stem bearing one tier of branches (compound leaves), green, terminating in red flowers, white seed pods, and brown roots.
