Spring Reading from Westwind, UCLA's Journal of the Arts

Featuring Antoine Wilson and JoAnna Miyoko Schindler

Westwind, UCLA's Journal of the Arts, is pleased to present its spring reading with featured reader, Antoine Wilson, and student reader, JoAnna Miyoko Schindler.

Antoine Wilson is a Canadian-American author and UCLA alumnus who received his MFA from the University of Iowa Writers' Workshop. He has two published novels, The Interloper and Panorama City, as well as short fiction appearing in publications including The Paris Review, A Public Space, and The Los Angeles Times. He is a contributing editor of the literary magazine, A Public Space.

JoAnna Miyoko Schindler is a fourth-year English student who just completed her creative honors thesis, Sundays in Santa Monica, and is the co-recipient of the 2016 English Department's Shirley Collier fiction prize. JoAnna is also assistant director of UCLA's Writing Success Program, and blogs her own work frequently on Wordpress at "View & Voice."
