A Musical Gala at Powell - From Bach to the Beatles

Featuring Faculty, Students and Alumni from the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music
Friday, May 15, 2015 - 8:00pm to 10:00pm

Celebrating the brilliant Powell Music in the Rotunda concert series organized by retiring director Catherine Brown, the Herb Alpert School of Music presents a kaleidoscope of short works and movements by composers such as J.S. Bach, Mozart, Debussy, Biber, Villa Lobos, Piazzolla, Bernstein, the Beatles and others. Performers will include School of Music faculty members Antonio Lysy, Movses Pogossian, Guillaume Sutre, Juliana Gondek, Neal Stulberg, Peter Yates, along with alumnus Lindsey Strand-Polyak and other faculty, current students and alumni. Free admission; reservations are not required.
