Edible Book Festival

Tuesday, Mar 31, 2015 - 12:00pm to 1:30pm

Enter your edible creation in this fun contest!

Everyone is welcome to attend the festival and enjoy the creations, and no reservations are required.

This annual festival celebrates the consumption of books in all ways. Individuals and groups from across campus are invited to create a unique piece of edible art, which will be judged in a variety of categories, including:

  • Best Student Entry
  • Most Creative
  • Best Tasting
  • People’s Choice
  • Healthy Option

Entries can be savory, sweet, or any combination of edible ingredients.

The International Edible Book Festival was founded by UCLA alumna, Judith Hoffberg, donor of much of the Arts Library’s artists’ book collection. The UCLA Edible Book Festival features important library collections, including the Arts Library's Artists' Books Collection, rare and historic cookbooks from Library Special Collections, and the Powell Library Community Cookbook Collection.

To enter the contest, please fill out our online entry form.
