75 Years, 75 Pieces - UCLA Music Library, 1942-2017

Monday, October 30, 2017 - 3:45pm to Wednesday, February 28, 2018 - 10:00am

The 75 Years, 75 Pieces exhibit celebrates the 75th anniversary of the UCLA Music Library. From humble beginnings in 1942 with a collection of scores from the recently decommissioned Federal Music Project, the Music Library has grown into one of the largest academic music libraries in the United States. This non-linear, non-narrative exhibit gathers materials from the UCLA Music Library, Ethnomusicology Archive, and Library Special Collections to highlight the support offered for music scholarship and performance during the last 75 years at UCLA.

The exhibit is located to the left of the Music Library door, in the hall between the Music Library and Popper Theater.
