Library AssociatesThe Library Associates annual giving program is an association of dedicated supporters who recognize that the Library is at the heart of UCLA's entire academic enterprise. Library Associates provide unrestricted annual support to the Library. Gifts may be designated to the University Librarian's Fund to help meet critical priority needs including purchases of opportunity or to one of the Library's eight subject libraries to meet that particular library's current priority needs. Either way, donors will be investing in current and future generations of scholars at UCLA and around the world who depend on the Library for a wide, rich variety of resources and services. Powell SocietyGenerous donations at the patron ($1,000 and above) level and above are recognized in the Powell Society, named in honor of Lawrence Clark Powell, UCLA university librarian 1944-61. These gifts, like Powell himself, have a transformative effect on the Library and add to his legacy.
