Maureen Russell called the meeting to order at 1:10 PM.

The Board discussed appointments for LAUC-LA committees:
• Committee on Library Plans and Policies
• Committee on Programs
• Committee on Professional Governance
• Committee on Research and Professional Development
• Nominating Committee
• Election Committee
• Peer Review Documentation Workshop Committee
• Committee on LAUC-LA Distinguished Librarian Award


The Board also discussed appointments for LAUC Statewide Committees:

• Committee on Committees, Rules and Jurisdiction
• Committee on Diversity
• Committee on Research and Professional Development

The next meeting will be held October 2, 2001.
