Project Muse
Covers 1990-present. Full text of about 250 scholarly journals in the arts, humanities, and social sciences. You can use Library of Congress Subject Headings to search. (This means that a subject search that works in the Library Catalog will probably also work well in Project Muse). Links to JSTOR for older articles. more info |

JSTOR Covers 1845-present. Full text content of core journals in the social sciences and humanities. A basic keyword search might pull up many irrelevant articles (it searches for words anywhere in the article), so using the advanced search screen will help. more info |

Expanded Academic ASAP 1980 - present A general database which covers all kinds of topics (arts/humanities, social sciences, sciences, etc.), it’s a good starting point for various topics and multidisciplinary research (like literary criticism and psychoanalysis or ethnic studies). Great for finding book reviews and some literary criticism. Includes both scholarly and popular publications, so if you need peer reviewed articles, be sure to limit your search to "peer-reviewed publications." |
