The most convenient way of getting online, whether you're using a CLICC laptop or one of your own, is through UCLA's wireless network. CLICC laptops have wireless built-in. Depending on your laptop, you may already have wireless built-in, especially if your laptop is recent, or you may need to purchase an adapter. For more information about using wireless on campus, please see UCLA Wireless Network Access.
How To Connect
Most areas in the UCLA Library buildings, including the CLICC Classrooms and the Group Study Spaces, are within coverage of the UCLA wireless network. For more information about connecting to wireless on campus, please see UCLA Wireless Network Access.
What You'll Need
To use the wireless network, you'll need:
- A valid UCLA Logon and password
- A built-in wireless Internet antenna or wireless adapter (please see above)
Where to Get Help
CLICC consultants will help as much as they can to get you connected. If that does not work, we will send you to the Bruin OnLine (BOL) office in Kerckhoff Hall, Suite 124, where they will fully troubleshoot any wireless problem you have.
Printing is only available from Library desktops and laptops; it will not work from a personal laptop. For instructions on how to print from a CLICC laptop, please see Printers.
