The College Library Instructional Computing Commons CLICC Lab, located in 145 Powell Library Building, offers Windows desktops, iMacs, printers, scanners, and helpful staff. Our services are made available specifically for UCLA students, staff, and faculty.
Peak hours are typically weekdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. When all computer stations are being used, there is a two-hour time limit per user. Ten-minute, standup stations are available for quick tasks like printing. If you need to use a station for longer than ten minutes, the CLICC consultant at the front counter will let you know if there's a station available either in the lab or in the electronic learning spaces.
There are 96 HP all in one Windows stations, 19 of which are ten-minute Windows desktop stations, and 12 Mac stations in the CLICC Lab. The Windows desktop stations contain the same hardware and software as the Electronic Learning Spaces on the third floor of the Powell Library Building (Powell 320). The iMac stations have the same software as CLICC MacBook Pro laptops and Media Stations. Please see Equipment for a description of CLICC computer hardware. For a list of the software available on our Mac and Windows machines, please see the Software List.
