About the Library
The William Andrews Clark Memorial Library is one of UCLA's major libraries for rare books and manuscripts, with particular strengths in English literature and history (1641-1800), Oscar Wilde, and fine printing. It is an affiliate of the UCLA Library.

CLARK LIBRARY CLOSURE
The William Andrews Clark Memorial Library will close to the public in April 2015 and reopen in mid-2016. During the closure the library will undergo a seismic retrofit; construction will include a new entrance pavilion and increased book storage on the basement level.
Clark lectures, symposia, and conferences will be held on UCLA's main campus from April 1, 2015, through Spring 2016. All Chamber Music at the Clark concerts for the 2014-2015 season will take place in the Clark's drawing room; however, the 2015-2016 concerts will take place on UCLA's main campus.
