Primary Responsibilities:

• Providing maintenance and persistence in URLS
• Managing the load of the CDL Shared Cataloging Program records we receive from UCSD
• Cataloging web sites and databases & coordinating the cataloging of e-serials and e-books with other sections
• Synchronization of ERDb and the OPAC, by migration of data from Voyage
• Advising staff involved in digital library project work on metadata
• For selected digital library projects, making controlled vocabulary assignments to digital resources and matching names to authority files
• Providing mapping between metadata schema
