Beginning August 29, 2016 the Biomedical Library will begin an 8 month seismic retrofit project. The project will impact all levels of the Biomedical Library and many other areas of the Center for Health Sciences building. The project includes the construction of shear walls, and fiber wrapping and bolting of select structural elements. It also provides backbone fire suppression and alarm systems to serve the CHS complex, fire/life safety upgrades, and accessibility upgrades.
The library will reduce hours during construction and will not have extended hours through 10th and finals week. The 3rd floor Graduate Reading Room will follow reduced library business hours and will not have after hours access. For a complete list of hours, see the Biomedical Library homepage.
