About the Prize
The UCLA Library Undergraduate Art Project Prize celebrates and honors artistic excellence by selecting winners to be printed and on display in Night Powell, a large, quiet reading room on the first floor in Powell Library, open past regular Library hours.
Submissions are open to any undergraduate student who has completed an art project over the past 12 months. Winners will be acknowledged during an award ceremony as part of Undergraduate Research Week.
Requirements
Best art project responding to "Inspiring Research and Scholarship in any field(s):" Multiple prizes; printed and on display in Night Powell.
Banner sizes: 24 wide (up to 72 long) and 48 wide (up to 72 long).
Files should be
- Adobe Illustrator CC (or earlier) - .ai or .eps
- Adobe Photoshop CC (or earlier) - .psd or .tif
- 100-120dpi at full output size.
