UCLA Library is well-represented throughout the exhibition Flesh and Bones: The Art of Anatomy, organized by the Getty Research Institute, on view at the Getty Center through July 10.

The exhibition explores depictions of anatomy from the Renaissance to today and reveals the intersection between artistic education, artists and the market created by the need for anatomical illustration for medicine and medical education. A dozen works from Library Special Collections are featured and reveal the body through a range of media including etchings, engraving, woodcuts, chromolithographs, a plastic kit, wax and glass.
